Intensive Outpatient Programs – When More Is Better
Our holistic intensive outpatient program is a type of treatment program that offers support and resources for individuals struggling with mental health concerns. It is designed to provide a structured and comprehensive level of care that falls between traditional outpatient services and inpatient hospitalization. Unlike inpatient programs, IOPs do not require patients to live at the center. Instead, you or a loved one will attend daily or weekly therapy sessions and group meetings while still being able to live at home. This allows for a more flexible and less disruptive approach to treatment, making it an excellent option for teens, young adults, and adults who are still in school or are working. Our IOP gives you or a loved one the freedom of living at home, working, and going to school while still receiving intensive care needed for you or a loved one.
Why Our IOP Works
Inward Healthcare’s IOP is specifically designed for teenagers, young adults, and adults. The program typically lasts for 8-12 weeks, with sessions held three to five times a week for a few hours. During these sessions, our experienced therapists and mental health professionals provide individual and group therapy to help adolescents, young adults, and adults address their specific challenges. In addition to therapy, our IOP also includes educational workshops, experiential therapies,s and activities focusing on coping skills, communication skills, and stress management techniques. We also offer family therapy to help improve communication and relationships within the family unit.
